One more night, that’s all there is left of the wait for the celebrated Electronic Entertainment Expo. Better known as E3, the convention has become one of the biggest events for developers and publishers to showcase their video games. It has become a huge resource for people following the development of an upcoming release, as well as for companies to get the publicity they need.

E3 is held in Los Angeles at the LA Convention Center. If you are thinking of showing up expecting to get in, don’t count on it. E3 is an invitation only event since 2007. Unless you are part of the press, there isn't any chance that you could get in.

This year we have a spectacular list of games to drool at over the Internet. Games such as Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, Modern Warfare 2, Assassin’s Creed 2, and Halo 3: ODST (?) will all be making appearances. Maybe more exiting is the titles that will be announced. Although we don’t know what they are, new games are always exiting, and we are almost certain to get something we want.

Already some teaser trailers have been released to hype people up for E3. Such trailers include Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands. Both look amazing, but they also do what they are supposed to. I am left wanting more! Just one more night, just one more night, just one more night…

Each day of E3 I will post the updates and announcements. There is no doubt that there will be no lack of content to discuss. If you want more immediate information, Gametrailers.com is doing 24-hour live coverage with Spike TV.

Just to make the time pass a little more slowly, here’s a countdown:
